Amy was instrumental in launching the DIFF blog with me and several other Quicken Loans team members. She’s contributed entries regularly and handled most of the day to day operations of the blog.
Her love for martial arts is well known around here and she regularly was heard yelling things like “get your DIFF post in to me soon or I’ll kick your (insert bad word here)!” Thus, she earned the stealthy and deadly title – the “DIFF Ninja.” She could beat you down and then wax poetic about it.
The DIFF Ninja even got the fancy of the Chilibean blog, a South African blog: http://www.chilibean.co.za/2006/11/21/a-corporate-blog-with-a-diff
In his own words – “Brilliant!”
Before her blogging career blossomed with the DIFF, Amy wrote copy for the Quicken Loans Web site, as well as other sites associated with our company. She jumped at the chance to be on the DIFF team and volunteered to serve as our “blog editor” and main contact for folks wishing to contribute to the blog.
So I wish her well as she embarks on a freelance writing and martial arts movie career. Move over Jet Li. You’re too old Steven Segal. Amy Prior is about to bust large! And who knows, she might just submit an entry to the DIFF down the road as a guest blogger!
And so I’ll leave this with a link to my favorite post Amy wrote, the story of the stupid car dealer – Ignorance is not Bliss.
So goodbye Amy. Goodluck with everything and perhaps I’ll see you sometime in the future on the dojo mat. Or then again, since you are a ninja, I might not give you the chance to see me coming……
