Aldo shoes were made for walkin'…

An Aldo shoe to be fixed free of charge!

By Cora Bledsoe

I’m pretty picky when it comes to buying shoes. When I get it in my mind what I’m looking for, I won’t settle for anything less. In the past few years, I’ve started shopping at Aldo. They usually have something I’m looking for and are pretty reasonably priced.

Not only that, but their shoes are pretty sturdy. I’m hard on my shoes. I have a heavy gait and I’m on my feet a lot, but my Aldo shoes seldom complain. Every now and then I like a particular pair of Aldo shoes so much; I wear them out to the point of no return.

And that’s when Aldo’s free shoe repair service swoops in to save me!

Several times I’ve worn down my heels to the metal. Each time, I take my shoes into my local Aldo, give my name and pick them up a few weeks later, good as new. The workmanship is always top-notch and it doesn’t cost me a dime.

In turn, Aldo has a loyal customer in me and free advertisement when I tell everyone about their repair service. Yeah, it hurts to be without my favorite shoes for a few weeks, but who can argue with free? Free shoe repair is the diff for me, the heavy-walker, all-day-on-my-feet person. If it weren’t for Aldo, I’d have a closet full of “used to be my favorite, worn heel, now un-wearable” shoes. And everyone knows that’s no good.

"all-day-on-my-feet person"...don't you sit at a computer all day?

Pretty cool! My favorite "disappearing shoes" (as Angry Ed calls them because he swears they blend into the Quicken Loans carpet) are in the sitting-in-my-closet-because-I-wore-the-heck-out-of-them-mode. Wish I woulda got them at Aldo!

I know where I'm shopping from now on. Thanks for the info. Heavy gait? If shoes could complain, mine would for sure.
