What's The Diff?

The things Quicken Loans team members care about and want to share with the world

Send a card to a soldier – Cards From Destiny event in Belleville, Michigan

You’ve seen me write about Destiny Eadie before. She’s the young girl from my hometown working on sending 10,000 cards to active soldiers overseas this year. She got started on her mission through AnySoldier.com.

Well, she’s having an event in our town of Belleville to collect cards and get even more people to sign cards.  So I wanted to share the flier for the event in hopes of getting her some more publicity for it. Looks like she even has a new website!

Also, if you want to send the cards to me at Quicken Loans, I’d be more than happy to get them over to Destiny. Oh yea, and special guest at the event – SANTA!!!

  1. This is a great idea. I’m definitely going to do this.
In fact, I bought a card for Master P today because, as we all know, he is a No Limit Soldier (I thought I told you).
    Seriously though. Do this, everyone.

  2. Thank you once again, Kelly, for promoting Cards From Destiny and the card signing event. Destiny’s goal is to send 10,000+ cards this year. Part of the fun is that you don’t know WHO will get the card you sign-it will be someone serving in harms way, but could be male/female and from any branch of the military.
Please check out the website for more info!
    Kelly, your the best!

  4. This is a great cause and I think Destiny is an amazing young lady. As a former soldier, I can assure you that getting mail really brings up the spirit of the troops.
