Google Wishes Sesame Street a Happy 40th Birthday

Especially for the child in every one of us, Google has taken the past week to honor the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street, the true mark of childhood.

Starting with the iconic Big Bird and ending with a composite of the most popular characters, Google has really outdone themselves this time.

While I always like the custom logos, I must admit that some part of me got a little giddy and wanted to turn on PBS when I saw these.

The only thing that could make these logos better would be to in throw some sound in too. I couldn't help but think of Elmo's laugh, Cookie Monster's gobbling and the Count's ....well... counting.

Take a few minutes to check out the logos and then leave a comment sharing your favorite Sesame Street memories.

I named my dog Grover because I loved Grover on Sesame Street. I wanted a dog named Grover my entire life and I finally got one.
