Okay so maybe I exaggerated. This isn't really a boat after all, it's a luxury liner. And for $3.7 million you can buy a complete home on this ship. If you love cruises, this would be the ideal vacation home. So what does this multi-national home include?
Well, on the low end for $3.7 million, you get a 1,400 square feet home with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If this is too small for you, there's always the option to upgrade to the $26 million home that has 6,600 square feet and 4 bedrooms with 3 baths.
While the cost only covers each particular cabin, and not any other portion of the ship – there are shared amenities that make this purchase more appealing as well. According to the L.A. Times, cabin owners also have to pay regular fees for utilities, security, concierge services and access to private onboard clubs.
The ship has been named Utopia, and is set to sail in 2013. There are 200 cabins in all, and the rest of the ship is going to be reserved for regular passengers on a vacation. For the full article, check out For sail: 200 homes on a cruise ship.
