R. Kelly has not lived in his former Lakeview home since 2002, but the house is still making headlines. The Chicago home, a former church that has undergone several renovations since its purchase from Kelly 8 years ago, will be listed on Monday for $4 million dollars. The home features a 1,500 square foot roof top terrace, an indoor pool and a 1,600-gallon fish tank where R. Kelly reportedly once kept a shark. A SHARK!
If you're not interested in this home, there is another piece of history that was left in this house that is up for grabs.
If $4 million dollars is a little too rich for your blood, you may want to check out a more economically priced piece of furniture that R. Kelly left behind. A Looney Tunes bar that was once located in Kelly's barbershop has shown up on craigslist with an asking price of $1000.
The ad boasts:
"THIS IS REALLY HOT….ONE OF A KIND BAR MADE FOR R. KELLY. IT IS SAID THAT MICHAEL JORDON [sic] DRANK FROM IT DURING A B-BALL GAME W/ R. KELLY…….THE BAR IS A ONE OF A KIND, MADE ONLY FOR R. KELLY. IT IS LOCATED IN HIS OLD HOUSE IN THE LAKEVIEW AREA…..THIS "LOONEY TUNES" BAR FEATUES [sic] JESSICA RABBIT, BUGS BUNNY, DAFFY DUCK, YOSEMITE SAM AND OTHERS IN A WESTERN SALOON THEME. BEAUTIFUL BLACK HARDWOOD TOP WITH REAL LEATHER TRIM ….SOME PEALING [sic] ON BOTTOM AND AROUND SYLVESTER……."
I personally would love nothing more than to sit at a Looney Tunes bar while listening to "I Believe I Can Fly" on a never-ending loop for the rest of my life. If someone would please act now and help make my dreams come true by buying me this bar, I'd appreciate it.
