It's all over the news today that Sparky Anderson, Hall of Fame baseball coach, is in hospice.
That's a shame.
I really liked Sparky, while I was growing up. Especially his years leading the Detroit Tigers to a World Series and a division championship.
He was the hook. Sparky the hook. Pulling pitchers before they had a chance to lose the game.
A true leader. I wish him well
