I’ve always been told that I can do anything I put my mind to. When I was younger, I always thought that meant I could be a doctor or a lawyer, but as I’ve gotten older, I realize that it means so much more than that.
I’ve come to realize that doing anything I put my mind to also means pursuing things I’m passionate about. For me, the education and well-being of children is something I’m passionate about, because children have the least amount of power to help their own situation.
They are often put in situations by adults that render them helpless and the only fix is for an outside source to step in to help.
