First of all, Simply Suzanne’s Granola is, well, GREAT.
Possibly the best granola of all time.
Second of all, here’s my story of how I tasted Simply Suzanne’s Granola.
It started at the IDEA Detroit conference. Suzanne, the wizard behind the amazing concoctions, was a featured speaker at the conference (topic: why she chose to create her business in Detroit). During her presentation, Suzanne graciously handed out samples of her granola. I happily accepted one (the cherry flavor).
When I got home, I put my granola sample on my kitchen counter and relished the thought of enjoying it the next morning. That never happened.
Grover, my 11 year old mutt, ate it instead. I was mad.
So I went to Simply Suzanne’s Facebook page and left a note about how sad I was that Grover ate my granola. Suzanne replied and ended up giving me TWO free bags of granola to try.
So ate them. And loved them. So fruity. So nutty. So tasty. So cherry. So simply GREAT.
Here’s some info about Simply Suzanne’s Granola from their website:
“Suzanne was born and raised in Michigan, and like many Midwesterner’s, she grew up on wholesome and home-cooked meals which were oftentimes prepared with ingredients fresh from her mom’s garden.
Suzanne moved to New York City to pursue a career in marketing and human resources. She enjoyed all NYC had to offer and also traveled extensively, always taking the time to sample fresh, local foods during her adventures.
Suzanne was mostly self-taught during her “culinary journeys”, by watching and learning from others. During a business trip to Michigan, Suzanne and good friend Randy experimented with homemade granola recipes. Suzanne was instantly convinced that it was too good to keep to themselves, and it was then that the idea for Randy’s Granola was born. Suzanne has enjoyed translating what she has learned into healthy, simple food that her family and friends have enjoyed. Through Suzanne’s culinary experiences, one thing became clear:
Honest food is simple
That is Simply Suzanne”
I hope you get a chance to try some of Simply Suzanne’s Granola. It really is good.
My guess is you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.
